ABOUT THE DEPARTMENTS
Valliammai Engineering College (VEC) was founded in 1999 by Dr.T.R.Paarivendhar to impart world class education in Engineering and Technology, particulary to develop useful manpower with entrepreneurship qualities for industry. It is a self-financed institue run by Valliammai Society. The Institute offers 7 U.G Courses and 8 P.G Courses.
(The institue offers engineering UG degree courses in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Infromation Technology, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. PG degree courses in Power Systems, Communication Systems, Control & Instrumention, Computer Science, Structural Engineering, CAD/CAM Engineering, Management Studies (MBA) and Computer Applications (MCA).)
The institute is approved by AICTE, accredited by NAAC ‘A’ Grade and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The institute is spread over wide area with modern laboratories, infrastructure and well-qualified staff members. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute.
Original contributions from on-going and unpublished research work/surveys are expected from the authors. Each paper must be accompanied by an abstract and should be prepared as per the guidelines summarized below.Maximum length of the paper should not exceed 6 pages (two columns).
The paper should be typed carefully as a camera ready copy adhering to the instructions posted on the website www.valliammai.co.in

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2009. It has very close interaction with many leading government organizations, industries & research laboratories such as CLRI,SERC,NEERI.
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering department was started in the year 2001. It is also recognized as a research centre by Anna University. It has AICTE sanctioned twoMODROBSschemes.The department has been accredited by NBA.
The Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering was established in the year 2002.It is also recognized as a research centre by Anna University. The department has been accredited by NBA.
Mechanical Engineering Department was established in the year 2008. It is also recognized as a research centre by Anna University.The department keeps itself up to date with the latest developments and technologies in the field by providing expert lectures from leading industrial executives.
The prime objective of the Conference is to establish an effective channel of communication between researchers and practitioners to explore establishment of new concepts. The conference provides a platform for dissemination of knowledge by presenting recent research results, new developments and novel concepts in Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentations and Mechanical Engineering. The outcome of the conference will undoubtedly provide a foundation for the future prospects of technological advancements.
Journal / Proceedings Publication:
All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings with ISBN number. Selected best original papers will also be published in a reputed and referred International Journal (scopus indexed) after further review.
